Loretta Lynn's — AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship
The largest amateur motocross championship in the world. Earn your spot through a two-stage qualifying ladder, then race the national finals at Loretta Lynn's Ranch.
National finals: Aug 3–8, 2026 · Loretta Lynn's Ranch, Hurricane Mills, TN
How to qualify
1. Area Qualifier
Two-moto format. Finish in an advancement position — the exact positions vary by region and class size (see the Supplemental Rules) — to lock a guaranteed spot at a Regional. You can race more than one Area Qualifier.
2. Regional Championship
Three-moto format raced both Saturday and Sunday. Pre-register with MX Sports by the deadline to keep your spot, then finish in an advancement position to earn an entry to the National.
3. National Championship
Only riders who advance out of a Regional are eligible to line up at Loretta Lynn's Ranch.
- Our region falls in the North Central and South Central areas.
- Requires a current AMA membership and registration through MX Sports. Exact advancement positions are set per class in the official Supplemental Rules.
- Next-season Area Qualifier dates are typically announced each December.
AMA Supercross Futures
The official amateur ladder into Monster Energy AMA Supercross — race your way from a regional qualifier toward a pro Supercross stadium.
National Championship raced on a stadium track at a Monster Energy AMA Supercross round.
How to qualify
1. Primary qualifier
Race a Primary (regional) qualifier; the top 22 finishers earn an invite to a Premier qualifier.
2. Premier qualifier
Held on Saturdays at select Monster Energy AMA Supercross events. The top 5 eligible riders from each Premier advance to the National Championship.
3. National Championship
Contested on the stadium Supercross track at a championship round.
- In our region, the South Central Youth Regional ran at Ponca City MX.
