About
Williams Hill Pass RV Campground & OHV Park is a privately owned 225-acre off-highway-vehicle and camping park about 9 miles southeast of Harrisburg, in Saline County, southern Illinois, on private land surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest (it is not a federally run forest area). It offers more than 22 miles of off-road trails for dirt bikes, ATVs and UTVs, plus a motocross track, a peewee track and a flat dirt track, along with hiking and catch-and-release fishing. The park is a ride-and-camp destination - riding is about $20 per rider ($5 for non-riders) - with 14 RV hookup sites, primitive tent camping and cabin rentals, hot showers, a dump station and potable water. It is an OHV/trail recreation park that happens to include a practice MX track, not a sanctioned motocross race venue.
