About
CronkyTonk MX is an outdoor natural-terrain motocross track at 2574 269th St, Fairfield, Iowa (Jefferson County), about 10 miles southeast of Fairfield, owned by Bub and Casey Cronk. Opened in 2023 and billed as the largest MX track of its kind in southeast Iowa, the roughly three-quarter-mile (~4,000 ft) layout runs through hilly, tree-lined terrain with enough elevation that the south edge is hidden from the north. It hosts AMA-sanctioned rounds of the Iowa Moto Series (AMA District 22) and remains active, with a 2026 Iowa Moto/D22 round scheduled for September 13-14, 2026.
