Motocross Tracks in Kansas

Bar 2 Bar MX is a private motocross park at 7800 W 61st St N in Maize, in Sedgwick County just outside Wichita, Kansas, founded in 2009 and owned and promoted by Bruce Richardson. It bills itself as the only AMA-chartered track in Kansas and has been voted the state's #1 motocross track repeatedly since its inception. The facility opens to the public for local, state and national events, hosting the Kansas State Motocross Championship Series (KMCS), the AMA Kansas State Championship, the Vet MX Foundation AMA National, the Kansas vs. Oklahoma Border MX Battle, the STACYC series, and AMA Monster Energy National area/regional qualifiers, with prepped-track public practice offered periodically.

Great Bend Motocross Park (GBMX Park) is a motocross facility at the Great Bend Expo Complex (9951 B29 Way), near the municipal airport in Great Bend, Barton County, central Kansas, first opened in 2013. Since a 2024 agreement, it is operated by Kansas Motocross under a contract with the City of Great Bend (running through 2027, with the city named as co-insured and sharing in gate revenue). The park hosts rounds of the Kansas Motocross Championship Series (KMCS) along with prepped open-practice days, and recently added a new StaCyc track, a new entrance/exit and upgraded dirt.

Green Acres MX is a farm motocross track on Walnut St in Marion, Kansas (Marion County, central Kansas), where racing has been held since 1990. The roughly one-mile natural-terrain course sits at about 1,300-1,350 feet of elevation and features varied jumps, elevation change and whoops on mostly loose dirt with some trees and little mud or dust. It operates primarily as an open-riding/practice track on Thursdays and Sundays (weather permitting), with flush toilets on site and concessions on race days. Riders are advised to 'call before haul' via the track hotline since open-riding is weather-dependent.

Inman Motocross is a small, family-friendly nonprofit motocross track in central Kansas, located about one mile east and a half mile north of Inman. Originally built in the mid-1990s and since completely rebuilt, it is run by Inman Motocross, Inc. (a not-for-profit corporation) and operates on a membership model: members get a gate combination for self-access riding, and organized practices are scheduled regularly. The track hosts rounds of the Kansas Motocross Championship Series (KMCS / Kansas MX Series) and prides itself on being a first race for many new riders.

Jeeps Motorcycle Club, founded in 1936, operates an 80-acre off-road facility just north of Wichita in Park City, Kansas (Sedgwick County). The grounds include a lighted motocross/supercross track plus flat-track, oval, and hare-scramble courses, with recreational riding available throughout the week. The club runs a full 2026 calendar including a six-round under-the-lights supercross series, StaCyc youth races, flat-track money races, hare scrambles (including the 59th annual Turkey Run), and a round of the Kansas Motocross Championship Series (KMCS). Events are open to the public with gate admission; club membership is offered but not required to ride or race.

Platter Hill MX Park is a privately operated motocross facility at 12447 176th Road in Winfield, Cowley County, in south-central Kansas, about an hour south of Wichita and a few miles north of the Oklahoma line. Run by the Nelson family, it uses the natural terrain for a roughly one-mile, 25-to-30-foot-wide track with tabletops (45-, 60- and 95-footers), bermed and high-banked corners, supercross-style whoops, doubles and wide sweepers, and is regarded as one of the more aggressive outdoor tracks in Kansas, with on-site camping. It is generally open for practice and open riding on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (around $20 per rider) and also hosts racing as part of the Central Kansas Motocross Series.

Red Hills Track & Trails is a member-supported off-road riding park run by the Anthony Dirt Riders Association, located about a half-mile south of Anthony, Kansas (Harper County) along Highway 179. The roughly 60-acre property of pasture, creek bottoms and abandoned railroad combines a one-mile motocross track (built on about 10 acres) with more than four miles of trails featuring jumps and hill climbs. Riding requires an annual club membership (about $80/year); the parking lot, entrance and camping area are free, helmets are mandatory, and the park is open daily for amateur and novice riders.
