Muddy Waters MX is a motocross track at 20701 Freidens Road in Port Byron, in Rock Island County, northwestern Illinois (Quad Cities area). It is a 'lay-of-the-land' facility - a just-over-one-mile main track that uses the property's hillsides and ravines for a flowing layout, plus a smaller Pee-Wee track - open to dirt bikes and quads on select practice and race days throughout the year (call ahead, as it only opens on scheduled days). Gate/track fees run about $25 for the big track and $20 for the Pee-Wee track, with on-site restrooms and concessions; the community-minded venue also hosts benefit events.
