About
New Hartford Racing is an AMA-sanctioned motocross club track at 28028 Temple Ave., Shell Rock, Iowa (Butler County), located about five miles north of New Hartford and run by the Rambling Wheels Motorcycle Club. The course is over a mile long, mixing tight technical sections with high-speed stretches, and the club offers free primitive camping on race weekends plus an on-site concession stand serving breakfast and lunch. It anchors the WON (Cedar Valley) Motorcycle Racing Series, a six-round series co-promoted with the National Cattle Congress track, and runs practice plus race weekends from spring into summer.
