Sandy Corners MX is a privately owned practice-only motocross track at 2328 Cheyenne Ave in Ionia, in Chickasaw County, northeast Iowa. As the name suggests, the course runs on sandy terrain and blends supercross- and outdoor-style features - whoops, doubles and tabletops - suited to a range of skill levels. It is open for riding seven days a week (call or text the track before you haul, as conditions and prep vary). Organized racing is not held here; it operates strictly as an open-practice facility, and visiting training camps are occasionally hosted on site.
