About
Heartland Motorsports Park (formerly Heartland Park Topeka) is a large multi-discipline motorsports complex at 7530 SW Topeka Blvd, about eight miles south of Topeka, Kansas (Shawnee County). The roughly 750-acre facility combines an NHRA-sanctioned quarter-mile drag strip, a 2.5-mile road course, a dirt oval, and — relevant here — a 2.1-mile outdoor motocross track added in 2016 with camping, RV hookups, showers, concessions, and lighting for beginner through pro riders. The complex closed in 2023; in December 2025 the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) acquired it and announced plans to reopen, so the motocross track's return is planned but not yet confirmed operational.
Note
IHRA acquired Dec 2025 | Drag focus 2026 | MX 2.1-mile track status unclear | Historical AMA events
