About
Humboldt County Fair MX is the motocross program run at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds, 311 6th Avenue North in Humboldt, Iowa, the same grounds that host the county fair and harness racing. Rather than weekly practice, the fairgrounds put on a short series of amateur dirt-bike race days each year (in 2025: June 8, August 17 and October 19) on a temporary motocross course, with classes for all ages and bike sizes. Schedules and entry details are posted on the fair's website (humboldtcountyfair.com/motocross-racing) and its Facebook page, and the 2026 fair runs July 21-27. It is a stand-alone fairgrounds event venue, not a permanent dedicated MX park.
