About
FDMX is a Fort Dodge motocross promotion run by brothers Justin and Zach Wallace that builds and races a temporary motocross track at Sports Park Raceway, a dirt-oval (IMCA) car track at 2298 S River Rd in Fort Dodge, Webster County, Iowa, owned by Jeff Frevert. Since debuting at the venue in 2023 (on a five-year deal), FDMX has trucked in 150-plus dump-truck loads of dirt to build what organizers call one of the best tracks in Iowa, with hillside spectator viewing of the whole course. It hosts AMA District 22 Iowa Moto Series rounds as multi-day weekends (Friday move-in, Saturday practice, Sunday racing) for riders roughly ages 5-60, drawing large fields (about 422 entries and 1,500-plus spectators at the 2024 round).
